The short answer
Here is what Huawei's own alarm reference says.
Plain English
Huawei inverter keeps showing Alarm 2034 (Grid Overvoltage)? Here is what Huawei's own alarm reference says.
Why it happens
The power grid line voltage exceeds the upper threshold.
The fix, step by step
- Owner Only now and then? The grid may be briefly abnormal. The inverter recovers by itself once the grid is normal
- Installer Happens often? Check whether the grid voltage is within the allowed range
- Owner Not within range? Contact your local power operator
- Installer Within range? Change the grid overvoltage protection threshold only after the local power operator agrees
- Installer Check whether the grid peak voltage is too high. Frequent and long-lasting? Contact the local power operator
Safety. Measuring grid voltage and changing protection settings is installer work, and only with your power operator's consent. Owners can watch and contact the operator.
