Question Solar is the helper brand of PVDIS. We answer the questions solar installers actually run into, and we always show where the answer comes from.
Why we do it
Installers get a lot of opinions and not many sources. A forum thread says one thing, a sales sheet another. Question Solar takes the questions installers keep asking on public forums and answers each one from the document that settles it: the manufacturer's manual, a standard or published research.
Our rules
- Real questions. Each question links a public thread where installers or owners asked it.
- Every answer names its source. If we can't confirm something, we mark it.
- No made-up numbers or quotes. Quotes are word for word from the source, or there is no quote.
- Local rules win. Where the answer depends on your country, check your national code.
- No sales talk and no prices. This is a help channel, not a shop.
- Fair to every product. We explain the problem and the fix, and we don't run anyone down. We are not affiliated with the brands named.
- Safety first. DC and AC work is for qualified installers only. Always follow the current manual for your exact model.
